About Hannah

Hannah started her career in Physiotherapy in 2001, but she has always had a passion for helping people. She travelled the world, working in Florida, Peru, Australia and New Zealand. Working with and for people was at the heart of everything she achieved overseas.

Throughout her professional career Hannah has strived for and achieved excellence and a gold standard of care. Careful listening to and understanding the needs of the client, she uses a collaborative approach to help them achieve their goals.

After Qualifying as a Physiotherapist, she gained experience in Respiratory, Medicine, Oncology and Neurological. After 10 years her passion for Physiotherapy spurred her to start working at LOROS hospice. For the next eight years Hannah had the privilege of working with some amazing colleagues and patients. Appraising the latest evidence ensures her practice is up to date with the most effective treatments. Her research into Acupuncture helping cancer related symptoms has been published and she has lectured at Coventry University.

Hannah has attended a variety of courses covering Rehabilitation in Palliative Care, Cancer Care, Oncology and other terminal conditions.

She became an ACPOPC member (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology and Palliative Care) and shared good practice with other members across the Midlands.

At the same time Hannah completed the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level Two and Three in Management and in 2014, Hannah became the Clinical Lead for Physiotherapy and developed a team of exceptional staff. Hannah was fortunate to complete the Mental Health First Aid Course, and so has a greater awareness of mental health issues. She has appeared in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) national magazine on several occasions, for her work within cancer. Hannah wanted to progress her skills further and on a deeper level and so attended the Scar Therapy course.
This was a turning point for her and immediately changed the course of her professional career. Hannah witnessed amazing results Scar Therapy treatments had on patients who had endured mastectomies, large tumour removals and many other surgeries. Hannah learnt intricate scar massage techniques and has used these to treat a variety of scars. These treatment techniques have been shown to help people physically, mentally and emotionally. Hannah felt that all her previous skills and years of experience came together, to enhance the new treatments she was providing. The outcomes have been astonishing and her original passion for helping people is being fulfilled.

In Hannah's personal life she is a wife and a mother to two adventurous boys. Her faith, family and friendships are extremely important to her and she cherishes them. Hannah loves keeping active and being outdoors.
